Because I'm vain like that...

Instead of writing a long post about the wedding, I've opted to post thousands (i.e. some) photos of the event. If you were present, I hope this post isn't too redundant. If you weren't present at the event, please let me know if I'm getting annoying. I can't help but want to bask in the glory of my wedding day... but I have to come down to earth at some point.. and feel free to help bring me down.

I felt like a princess the whole day, thanks to all of the lovely people I had around me. It's nice to be involved in the arts and have a graphic designer friend, a event organizer maid of honor, a makeup designer friend, a hairstylist friend, technician friends... the list goes on and on.

This is a blurry picture of me getting my hair done, with Dalelle Mensour my maid of honor watching, at Perfection Hair Design...the bright yellow and red shirt belongs to the hair stylist Delaney Hinds. He's amazing... and such a good friend. At this point, I was so exhausted I could have almost fallen asleep in the chair... and I was getting some serious butterflies... this was not going to be just any regular show.

This is me holding up my breasts while my dress designer (aka Eileen Matthews, mother-in-law) puts me into my dress. The stomach protruding on the left side belongs to Dalelle... and baby within. How chic was I to have my designer there to make sure everything was perfect? How nervous was I at this point?... I had to pee immediately after getting the darn thing on.

LET ME OUT!!! LET - ME - OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was much more peaceful after the ceremony... though I was possessed by the devil. (I need to update my photoshop software.)

Our first dance as husband and wife... well, it's the 2nd one if you count us dancing around in the kitchen after we got married the 1st time in July.

Our second dance as husband and wife... I've discovered that your wedding day gives you the liberty to dance like an idiot at all times during the reception... even if you don't normally dance like that in "real life".

The new family... Jean-Guy and Brenda Quesnel, Stewart and myself, Wilfred and Eileen Matthews.

The morning after... makeup wasn't washed off... we hardly slept, not because we were amorous but because we went to bed late and woke up early to open presents... it was like Christmas!

Ok, so that's enough for now... I'm starting to annoy myself. When I get the "official" pictures from the photographer, I'll post some more.
