Natalie Joy's Musings

It's a small world

ICARUS went amazingly last night. The guys shaved off almost 5 minutes of the show just in improved pacing and line delivery. The twenty-some people that were there seemed to enjoy it too. Lots more laughs were heard than the last time too. I was very impressed by their hard work. I think, all in all, Enigma's first production was a success.

One friend and one acquaintance of mine came to see the show last night. The friend and the acquaintance do not know each other. The acquaintance called me today to give me the name and number of a woman who is looking for someone to teach drama to a bunch of high school students that are home schooled. I called said woman and she told me that my name was not only given to her by the acquaintance, but also by the friend! Turns out she went to school with my friend! How weird is that?! Le monde est très très petit!

Stewart and I are returning to MTL today because we both have shows to stage manage. We'll be back on Sunday afternoon in time for the opening of 52 Pick-up. EEEEK! I hope it goes well. We've been rehearsing for months now, and we have so much fun doing the show. I just hope people enjoy watching it.
