Do you like?

You've seen it here first! Here's a possible image for the 52 Pick-up poster. Comments? Likes? Dislikes? (I know, I know... my hair's a mess!... and why is Stewart's hair so curly?)

I want to send a special shout-out to my good friend Benjamin Gaillard for taking our photographs... check the media page of our site... there should be more posted for your perusal very soon.

So what did I really think???

I really admire my friend Kris Joseph. For a while now, I've been reading his blog and I'm always amazed at the level of discretion he maintains while still making his point loud and clear.

I mentionned in a previous post that I was going to attend the dress rehearsal of Opera Lyra's Les Contes d'Hoffman. That was a mistake, because now I have to make sure that whatever comments I make on this very very public forum are more contructive than nasty... more critical than emotional.

So, with that in mind, here are my comments:
- I do not like opera.
- I need to see another opera, done by another company, to make sure that the first statement is correct and not purely a reflection of how I feel about the performance.
- My favorite comment comes from a woman I overheard talking to her friend. She was sitting in front of me... she had just witnessing the third act... the one where the "evil spirits" spend the whole hour bumping and grinding... and she said sarcastically "well, at least we're being entertained!"
- Operas, or at least this particular production, make me giggle uncontrollably.

So, that's about all I can say. Not much is it?
