Well, I wish I could say that I thought it was a success. It was really good fun. There were a lot of people there. But I think they were ALL artists performing in the Fringe. There was a rumor going around that the NewRO was there, but otherwise I don't think any media attended the event.
It's really a shame, because the event was really quite well organised this time - there were tables for all the artists to display their show information - there was a (should have been 25 minute) 40 minute show with interviews and excerpts from various plays. Enigma was the first company to perform. It was the first time Stewart and I performed bits from 52 Pick-up in front of an uninitiated-to-the-concept audience. They loved it! I couldn't believe how much they laughed. We lost three cards because we tossed them into the airs on such a small stage, but it didn't matter. It became clear that the show is going to work... and it's going to be a lot of fun to perform it.
Now, all we need to do is decide on lighting and sound cues... and do enough run-throughs so that our run time gets under 60 minutes... when really it's a 70 minute show. EEEEK!
