Only 11 days left!
I can't believe I'm getting married in 11 days. Ok, so I'm already technically married. But I'm not fully married in my heart and soul until I walk down the aisle in my pouffy (off)white dress and say my I Do's in front of friends and family. I'm now starting to be super excited, and quite nervous too. I'm not at all nervous about marrying Stewart, but I am quite nervous about the outcome of the event. This is the biggest thing I've ever produced! I don't want it to be a flop!
So, as I mentioned in an earlier post, my physical theatre class has kicked my butt! I'm terribly out of shape. So out of shape, in fact, that I seem to have given myself an injury. It took two days after my Friday class for my calf muscles to stop hurting... no big deal. Then my left ankle bothered me yesterday... not a problem... it's probably just because I was compensating more with my left leg while my calves were in pain. But now, it's Tuesday, and my left ankle is sending shooting pains down into my foot and up into my calf... and what is it that troubles me about this?
- "Crap, I have another physical theatre class today! How will I cope?" -- NO
- "My exercise routine for the week is shot to hell" -- NO
- SHIT! I WON'T BE ABLE TO DANCE AT MY WEDDING! -- YES!... that is how sad I am!
Shows how good my priorities are.
Speaking of priorities, I should end this post and get to my homework. I have to read Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe" for tomorrow's seminar "Working with Collaborators". The first section is with set/costume designer Art Penson. Should be pretty good.
And I leave you with a couple pictures from the technicality day - July 6th - as a warm up for the second wedding on September 24th.

I'm not sure if he does private training. I'll check.
