Off the radar

Sorry it's been so long, but I've been so extremely concentrated on the first section of my thesis that I've barely thought about anything else, or done anything else. I've been a hermit... Stuck at home, with the dishes piling up, ordering delivery, getting eyestrain and multiple migraines. But it's done... my first section of my thesis is complete... all 55 pages of it!!! It's the biggest paper I've ever written and, sadly, it probably won't be the last. But I must admit as hard as it's been to get this darn thing written, this work has been helpful for my show. I'm in rehearsals three to four times a week right now and all this research has proven useful. In my introduction, I say:
"Tzara and other Dadaists would have surely mocked me for trying to document the illogical, spontaneous and intentionally ephemeral. For the sake of academia, this process is a necessary one and I feel confident the information provided is concise, complete and creative. For the sake of performance and art, this is only a necessary process because I feel confident that I can now forget about most of it and focus on the play, the cast and the discoveries from moment to moment."

Stewart, after seeing a rehearsal, said something to the effect of "This is either going to be the biggest pile of artistic-wank ever, or it'll be great."

I'm on the fence. Though the grass is greener on the great side, I'm thinking I might wallow in wank for a while. It's kinda fun.

Did I just say that?
