Lazy Wednesdays

After our low-energy but still fun performance of Bear, I went to the courtyard with an old friend of mine. I had planned on seeing shows, but one wrap and a beer later, I reconsidered. I mean, I'm going on tour on July 2nd and I'll be gone for over two months... isn't more important to spend time with those you love than to see theatre? Maybe, as an artist, my priorities are out of wack. But I will reiterate what I have already said in a past post, the time spent in the couryard, over a beverage, chatting with friends and other artists is incredibly relaxing and rewarding. Sure, I'm sad that I haven't seen any shows yet... but I have made a load of news friends and reinforced loads of current friendships. Life is good.

But I will see shows today... I have to! Only four more days left of the festival.

I will see shows today!... right after I come back from the wave pool with my friend and her two kids. Mmmm.... waves.... kids....relaxing...eating... napping....

Oh, um, yes.... and I WILL see shows today.
